| Although Randy has extensive experience in a number of areas of state and federal law, he realized long ago that the general practice lawyer was fast becoming a thing of the past. No longer could a persona rely on one-stop shopping to have all of their legal needs addressed effectively and efficiently. In fact, today the laws pertaining to bankruptcy and foreclosure are, in a number of ways, more confusing and complex than ever.
In 2005, Congress passed the most comprehensive change in the bankruptcy laws in over 100 years. In fact, good, honest people were led to believe by credit card companies and big banks (a number of which ended up….filing bankruptcy) that filing bankruptcy was no longer an option to obtain relief from overwhelming debt no matter what the reason. This was, and is, simply not true!
Yes, the laws governing bankruptcy and foreclosure are more confusing and complicated than ever, but relief from overwhelming debt through filing bankruptcy is still very much a viable option for a lot of good, honest folks! To a lot of folks, it’s the only option that makes any sense in today’s unprecedented poor economic times!
Randy’s extensive experience has taught him that effective legal representation in any matter, including bankruptcy and foreclosure matters, must be accompanied by compassion and experience on the part of the attorney. There is no substitute for either!
